What is in the report to the client?

The report brings together what the client asks about for each period: how the systems ran, what happened and what you did about it.

SectionWhat it showsWhere the figure comes from
UptimeThe share of the period each system held its temperature within its limitsTemperature readings every minute
AlertsWarnings and critical alerts, who got them and when they were acknowledgedThe alert log in Maci
VisitsPlanned and urgent visits with the technician’s service reportThe technicians’ dictated reports
EnergyUse per system and in total, compared with the previous periodCurrent readings on every system
RefrigerantTop-ups, leak checks and scope 1 in CO2 equivalentThe F-gas log

The report can be made per client, site or system and sent to the client every month or every quarter.

How do you document SLA and uptime for refrigeration?

A refrigeration SLA is usually about two things: that the temperature holds, and that faults are fixed within an agreed time. Both can be documented with data from Maci. Uptime is worked out from the readings every minute, and the response time is in the alert log: when the warning came, when it was acknowledged and when the visit was logged.

When a warning weeks ahead turns a breakdown into a planned visit, the system holds its temperature throughout. That is the most direct way to meet a refrigeration SLA.

How does the report show visits and service reports?

The technician dictates the service report in the app, and it lands on the system with the date, the work and the parts. In the report to the client the visits are split into planned and urgent, so the client can see more faults being fixed in working hours. Read more about fewer call-outs.

Can the report show energy use per system?

Yes. Maci Intelligence measures the current on every system, so the report shows energy use per system, per site and in total for the client, and how it has changed since the last period. A system that suddenly uses more power is often heading for a fault, and it shows in the report before the client sees it on the electricity bill. See refrigeration energy optimisation.

How do you get the data out: PDF, CSV and API?

  • PDF for the client, ready to send or take to an operations meeting
  • CSV for your own calculations and spreadsheets
  • API for your CAFM, FM or BI system, with sites, systems, service history, the F-gas log and alerts

The data belongs to the client and can be handed over in full. See integrations and data security, and how the reports tie in with the overview of every client’s systems.

Questions and answers

How often can the report go to the client?

Monthly or quarterly for each client. The figures can also be downloaded for another period as PDF or CSV.

Can the client see the report in the app?

Yes, if you give the client access to its own systems. The client then sees reports, status and the F-gas log for its own systems.

What does uptime mean in the report?

Uptime is the share of the period in which the system held its temperature within its limits. It is worked out from the readings every minute.

Can we use the report to document our SLA?

Yes. The report shows uptime per system, alerts with the time they were acknowledged and visits with the technician’s report, so agreed response times and temperatures can be backed by data.

Can the report go into our own system?

Yes. The figures can be fetched as CSV for your CAFM, FM or BI system. System data, service history, the F-gas log and alerts can also be fetched through Maci’s API, and the alerts can be sent straight to you with a webhook.
