Up to 90% fewer call-outs. Refrigeration monitoring for facility management.
Maci Intelligence fits sensors to the refrigeration systems you run for your clients and typically warns 3 to 6 weeks before a breakdown. The alert says what is wrong and how long there is, and the repair happens on a planned visit in working hours. You see every client’s systems in one place.
Maci sees: Compressor current in Cold room 2 at Dagligvare Øst has crept up 14% in nine days. Risk of breakdown in about 19 days.

Round-the-clock monitoring
Every screen. Every system. Watched by AI, around the clock.
A staffed monitoring centre reacts when the alarm goes off. Maci Intelligence watches current, pressure and temperature on all your clients’ systems at once and tells you while there are still weeks to plan. Maci is not staffed: the alert goes to the people you put on the list.
Learns every system
No fixed limits. Maci Intelligence learns what is normal for that particular system.
Alerts that escalate
If no one responds within 2 hours, the alert moves on to the next person on the list. Your refrigeration contractor can be the one on call.
No extra staff
Your operations team hears from Maci when there is something to do. The rest of the time it stays quiet.
How the alert arrives
From the first sign to a planned visit. All on your phone.
The operations manager gets the alert in the app, by text and by e-mail. You decide who hears what, and when.

What refrigeration costs you today
The expensive hours are at night. You can move them.
A breakdown rarely comes out of the blue. The compressor draws more current, the pressure creeps, the defrost takes longer. When someone is watching, most of it can be sorted before the client notices.
Night and weekend call-outs
Surcharges, travel and a technician who doesn’t know the system. In Denmark a typical call-out costs about €360 excl. VAT for around 15 minutes’ work.
With Maci: the fault is caught weeks ahead and fixed on a planned visit.
Two visits for one fault
The first visit finds the fault, and the part has to be ordered in a hurry. The second visit brings it.
With Maci: the technician knows the system, the likely cause and the part before setting off.
Stock thrown away at the client
A freezer room that stops on a Friday evening can cost more than the repair itself.
With Maci: a warning in good time, and an escalating alert if something happens fast.
F-gas and leak checks
Deadlines, logbooks and refrigerant records across many clients.
With Maci: the log stays up to date and the deadlines arrive as reminders.
Reports for the client
Hours spent pulling figures together from technicians, e-mails and spreadsheets.
With Maci: a report for each client with alerts, visits, energy and refrigerant.
SLAs you have to meet
You promise the client uptime. Breakdowns at night make it hard to prove.
With Maci: data from every system, ready to show the client.

Compliance and reporting
The paperwork takes care of itself.
What you have to document for the authorities and your clients is gathered from the sensor data and the technicians’ visits.
F-gas log with deadlines
Reminders before every leak check. The log is kept for at least five years.
Warranty claims with data
If a component fails under warranty, the sensor data and service history are ready for the claim.

Sensors on the systems you have. A warning before the client notices.
Step 1
Sensors on the existing systems
A certified technician fits the sensors, whatever the make. Maci reads nothing from the controller, and your own refrigeration technicians can become Maci partners.
Step 2
Clients and roles set up
Systems are grouped under clients and buildings. You decide who gets which alerts, and whether the client can see its own systems.
Step 3
AI learns every system
Current, pressure and temperature are measured every minute and compared with how that system normally runs.
Step 4
A warning and a planned visit
Typically 3 to 6 weeks before a breakdown the alert arrives with cause and time frame, and the technician comes in working hours.
No. Maci Intelligence is fitted to the systems your clients have today, whatever the make. The sensors read nothing from the controller, and Maci monitors the systems without controlling them.
Who fits the sensors, and can we use our own refrigeration technicians?
A certified Maci partner fits the sensors. Your own refrigeration technicians can become Maci partners and both fit and service the equipment, so the systems they know stay with them.
Is Maci an alarm monitoring centre?
Maci Intelligence does what a monitoring centre does: it watches around the clock, raises the alarm and escalates it. Maci is not staffed. Alerts go to the people you choose, and your refrigeration contractor can be on call on the list. Read more about refrigeration alarm monitoring.
What does it cost?
The price depends on the number of systems and sensors and is given as a quote after a short review. In the meeting we work out both the saving and the price on your own systems, and afterwards you get a written quote.
Who owns the data?
The client owns the data and can have all of it handed over. Data is encrypted, stored in the EU and processed under GDPR with a data processing agreement. Read more about data security.
Can it connect to our CAFM system?
Yes, through Maci’s API. Your own systems can fetch sites, systems, service history, the F-gas log and alerts from Maci. See integrations.
How soon will we see an effect?
The sensors measure and send data from the day they are fitted. Maci Intelligence first has to learn how each system normally runs before the warnings weeks ahead arrive. In the meeting we go through how long that takes on your systems and when you can expect fewer call-outs.
What does “up to 90% fewer call-outs” cover?
The figure covers call-outs caused by faults that develop gradually and show in the data, plus call-outs that can be solved by remote diagnosis and self-help on site. Call-outs for other reasons, such as a power cut or a forklift hitting the system, are not included. How we count.
