What do refrigeration call-outs cost a facility management company a year?
A typical refrigeration call-out is about 15 minutes’ work. In Denmark it costs about DKK 2,700 excl. VAT, roughly €360, and a call-out at night, at the weekend or on a bank holiday costs more. Across a portfolio it adds up quickly: 100 systems with 2 call-outs a year is 200 call-outs, or about €72,000.
On top of that come the costs that are not on the technician’s invoice: stock your clients throw away, a second visit because the right part was not on the van, and the time your own operations staff spend. Read more about what a breakdown costs.
